MARCO ON THE MOVE…….READ ALL ABOUT IT ! Want to try our pizzas or see us in action. You can find us at Belmontes Gourmet Pizza 774 Pacific Highway GORDON, where we are open EVERY day (except Xmas) from 5pm to 10pm. We are a Italian family business who have been making pizza since 1979. We have 3 generations who work the Gordon operation and the Marcos Mobile Pizza (Pizza Event) operation. In 2004 we won “Best Gourmet Pizza in NSW” and went off to Melbourme to represent NSW in the Australian Gourmet Pizza Challenge. It was a tough competition with every state putting there best pizza chefs foward. We came second to the entrant from South Australia, who went to New York to represent Australian in the world competition. Australia’s  representitive competed against the best in the world, and WON the World Championship. We later squared off with Andy from South Australia on the Kerri Ann show on channel 9, were she held a Italian week pizza cook off, with Celebrity Chef Mike Moore as the judge. In the competition there was also Theo from Western Australia who had previously won an Australian Championship. GUESS WHAT………WE WON. Our Mobile Pizza operation has proved a great success. We began in late 2005 and our first function was for a friend with one oven and one table, some dough and a few ingreditents.
